The APS Photo Academy provides photographic tuition on an exclusive group or one-on-one basis and is facilitated by renowned South African photographers. APS offer courses for beginners to advanced, in field or in a classroom environment. They also offer courses on tools and programs such as Lightroom, as well as workshops helping people get to know their gear.
The path is well trodden and easy to follow. It winds through two forests and after forty five minutes of hard hiking we reached the last section before the summit. There are two tricky rock scrambles before you reach the top. A 360 degree view of the Lowveld greets you once at the top. The summit marker was infested with gnats and we only spent a short while there before moving down to the bottom tier.
Eksteen Jacobsz: “You have to earn the trust of your customers, you have to be able to work with all sorts of people in all sorts of stressful environments and still deliver the product. Without fail. Every time. And that is what you pay for as a customer. Ease of mind that your photographer will exceed your expectations and give you value for your hard earned money.”
The WRPC is a group of enthusiastic people seizing a regular opportunity to get out and play with their cameras. We meet once a month on a Saturday morning for a few hours and our Facebook page – WRPC – White River Photographic Club has details about our outings.
We love using Instagram to visually catch up on what people are doing around the Lowveld. Below are some summer holiday adventure snaps, that we found while flicking through our phones. Some of the Instagram users are from here, and some were here on Holiday. It is so nice to see White River through different eyes and what a beautiful place it is!
