There is a fresh, new and exciting vibe at the Courtyard Café in Casterbridge and we are certain that new owners Liz and Nic Wilson have something to do with it. The restaurant recently reopened for business after an extensive revamp. Liz and Nic are very excited about their new venture even though it is keeping them rather busy! The first few months have gone extremely well and the local community has really come out and shown their support.

Liz’s vision is to build the business to be one of the best in the industry, to give a good service to the White River community, to always stay consistent and to provide good value for money. The Courtyard Café must be a place where people feel relaxed and welcome and the new look provides just that – a tranquil ambience.
What keeps Liz going is the overwhelming support and encouragement from friends, family and colleagues. The Wilsons have been part of the Lowveld community for many years, Liz for 32 years and Nic for an astounding 44 years! They used to own Linga Longa Guest House, which they sold in 2005. White River will always be their home as they are surrounded by their children, grandchildren and many loyal friends.

Liz and Nic are passionate about community service and they have been involved with Rotary, Round Table and Lifeline. They have various community projects in the pipeline and are planning some charity events. Watch this space!
If you are looking for casual dining at its finest, then come and visit the Courtyard Café. There is something on the menu for everyone, from healthy salads and wraps to a wholesome burger and chips. The fresh juices are made on the premises and are organic and healthy. When you feel like having a sweet treat, pop in for a slice of delicious cake and a cup of Lavazza coffee.
Liz and Nic would like to thank the community thus far for their constructive feedback, loyalty and support.
