Julie Brosens: “Joanne and I make sure we’re readily available to our clients so that they understand that their matter is important to us.”
Brosens Cochrane Inc was established in Nelspruit in October 2012 by the dynamic duo of Julie Brosens and Joanne Cochrane. Over the years, they have represented the White River Country Estate Home Owners Association on various matters and as Julie lives in White River and many of their loyal clients are based here, it made sense for the team to open a branch in White River as well.
Therefore, March 2016 saw Brosens Cochrane Inc open at the Bagdad Centre to service the White River community with Julie heading up the White River team. Julie is no stranger to opening new branches, however, as she moved to the Lowveld in 2005 in order to open a branch for a prestigious Pretoria law firm. Julie has a strong background in Commercial Contracts, Commercial property transactions, Residential property transactions and developments as well Commercial Litigation.
Joanne is originally from Pietermaritzburg and worked as a solicitor for a prestigious London law firm for many years before returning to South Africa to start a family. Joanne has stayed on at the firm’s Nelspruit office but her specialised experience in property transactions as well as estate and trust planning is available to all Brosens Cochrane Inc clients.
The firm’s emphasis is on providing clients with a more personal, value added service. The motto of Brosens Cochrane Inc is to be an accessible community involved and based firm adding true value to every transaction or matter they are involved in.
A peek behind the professional images reveals Julie paddling on Longmere Dam, going for long walks with her dogs and spending time with her handsome husband and gorgeous son, while Joanne and her husband grab any opportunity they can to hitch up their camping trailer and head into the Kruger National Park with their two children.
