Drive the Big 5

Beginning as a specialist in scuba diving safaris, and based in White River, it was a natural transition to “marry” a wildlife safari and become Dive the Big 5 in 1996. The ‘offspring’ division, Transfers and Tours, grew to adulthood and focuses on providing transfers from Kruger Mpumalanga International airport near White River, Eastgate airport in Hoedspruit and Skukuza airport in the Kruger National Park to the Lowveld lodges and hotels. They also transport clients from Johannesburg and Pretoria to various Lowveld destinations.

Liz Mackintosh – My Mpumalanga

The programme’s success depends on committed principals, welcoming staff and caring host families, dedication from the likes of Netto Maluka of Mbombela Tours who always goes the extra mile, and the belief by their university (especially Michael Wirrer) in the importance of exposure to different education systems to broaden the mind and change perceptions and perspectives. It’s a win-win situation all round!
