I consider myself a people oriented person. Intrigued by what makes them tick. In most scenarios I use humour to help those around me to let their guard down. So doing allows the discovery of who they are to be more honest.
South Africa is a beautiful country bursting with possibilities. I would like to think of myself as a proud nationalist, without the negative connotations. This being said, I take time to consider the bigger picture in all that I do and how it could affect those around me. I may not always get it right, but it is an aspiration to live a compassionate life.
In the years that I’ve been in sales I’m come to accept and appreciate the maxim “people buy from people”. Within that phrase is a implication that some kind of inter-personal communication must happen. This is another passion of mine, communication. I am fascinated by this art of being relatable. It is an important part of being human. So much so that infants learn to communicate before they walk.
For efficiency and effectiveness we must look at our physical make up. What if maybe the two ears, one mouth ratio was an overt symbol from the creator on how to relate to each other?
From parliament to behind picked fences, the human species, myself included, may gain something from using the given physical communication tools in proportion.
